Stanford Adult Hospital

This new facility will dramatically enhance the capacity of the Stanford Medical Campus, meeting new seismic safety requirements and providing a space for cutting-edge medical technology and transformative patient-centered medical care. With a total of 205 isolators this the largest base-isolated project in Herrick's long history. The 824,000 square foot facility will dramatically increase capacity on the Stanford University Medical Campus. It also enables Stanford to house additional medical technology, meet updated seismic-safety requirements, and enhance patient care. Located on the Stanford University Medical Center campus and adjacent to the site of the current Adult Stanford Hospital, the facility features a flexible pavilion design with 368 patient rooms housing 600 patient beds.
