Del Mar Highlands

Del Mar Highlands Town Center is a premier open-air shopping center located in the heart of Carmel Valley. The expansion included over 80,000 SF of new retail space consisting of two structural steel buildings with light gauge framing. The type IIB structure incorporates an EIFS skin finished with tile, wood and sheetmetal. The main tenant is JIMBO’s, a local San Diego based organic grocery chain. The elevated Sky Deck on the 2nd floor inspires connectivity through open concept dining and drinking. The project includes a water feature with a 16-foot “Drifter” whale installation.
