About University of California, Los Angeles – Pauley Pavilion
The UCLA Pauley Pavilion landmark project featured over 12,000 Sq Ft of terra cotta panels. The panels were mounted vertically onto a custom aluminum sub-girt system. The terracotta walls were divided into bays – straight and sloped. The bays were lined by a special triangular terracotta trim piece. The custom aluminum system was designed, engineered, and supplied by POHL. The terracotta panels were produced by Agrob Buchtal in Germany and came in 20 mm thickness. The color of the panels was custom and specifically developed for this project. The project was challenging due to sloped walls and had many architectural elements. Cleveland Marble was proud to have completed the project with zero-punch list and was recognized by PCL for outstanding work.
