UCSD Greenwich Drive

The project consisted of the renovation and structural upgrades to the UCSD Extension office building campus located off of Greenwich Drive.

Dempsey Construction was engaged by The University of San Diego at the very early stages of project design to provide a full scope of pre-construction services. The Dempsey team worked collaboratively with The University, project architect and key consultants throughout the pre-construction process, including in-depth project estimating, master scheduling, cost analysis, value management, design coordination and general project coordination. Specific improvements to the two, multi-story, Class A office buildings included the addition of significant seismic building upgrades, installation of a Fire Life Safety and monitoring system throughout, ADA upgrades and building reconfiguration included gender neutral facilities and lactation rooms. Project construction took place while the buildings remained occupied and fully operational.
