The Shops At Coronado

The Shops at Coronado project consisted of the complete re-purposing / renovation of multiple historical and landmark buildings in Coronado. 

The El Cordova Garage renovation, located at the corner of 10th & C Street, consisted of the total transformation and re-purposing of a former automotive garage from the early 1900s. The garage building and adjacent land area were converted into an upscale multi-tenant retail destination, anchored by Buona Forchetta.

Additionally, the adjacent Historic Eagle Building and a retail storefront located on Orange Avenue were both completely renovated and upgraded to accommodate new tenants. Scope of work included structural upgrades and retrofits, utility upgrades and new finishes throughout.

The multi-phased project included the demolition of all interior and exterior elements while leaving the structures in place, extensive site grading and under grounding of new electrical and utility services.
