SEAHAUS LA JOLLA

Seahaus located in San Diego, CA is a ground-up, Type V wood over Type I concrete luxury condominium project. This project is designed by M.W. Steele Group Inc. evoking the style of Irving Gill. This GMP project totals 367,000 square feet throughout 14 structures with two to three levels above grade and one level below grade. It includes 137 luxury condominiums with a variety of floor plans. Two subterranean parking structures total 131,000 square feet and 301 stalls. The project was done in two phases. The first phase included demolition and mass excavation of an existing hotel and retail space on the two-parcel, 4.5 acre site and moving over 80,000 cubic yards of earth to create the parking structures. The second included new construction of 5,500 square feet of retail; the clustered condominiums; a community room with meeting space and kitchen; fitness center; multiple outdoor gathering areas with a pool, Jacuzzi, shower, BBQs, kitchen, and fire pits; and related site improvements including hardscape, landscape, and street-scape.
