Alice West Fleet Elementary School

Working with the project’s General Contractor, Whiting-Turner Contracting, OCMI’s team is providing scheduling services for Arlington Public Schools’ latest elementary school. Our solutions encompass the development of the baseline schedule, monthly updates to the baseline, with additional services that include cost loading baseline schedule, resource loaded baseline schedule, and monthly cost/cash loading update. The new 752-seat Y-shaped elementary school will encompass approximately 110,000 GSF, including two (2) underground parking floors, four (4) above ground floors to accommodate students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. The new school includes a full-sized gymnasium, stage, dining commons, kitchen, and administrative. The school is designed to be net-zero energy ready and to achieve LEED Silver or greater certification. The project is currently on time to be completed before the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
