MBTA Symphony Station

Boston, MA 02115, USA
About MBTA Symphony Station

Symphony Station serves the E Line in one of Boston’s busiest cultural and historical neighborhoods. They’re working on major improvements to make Symphony Station accessible and safer for their riders. At Symphony Station, there are no step-free pathways from the entrances to the platforms, and the station can’t be accessed by people with wheeled mobility devices. They’re relocating the utilities surrounding Symphony Station at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Huntington Avenue, including the Huntington Avenue exit and entrance ramps. The 80-year-old station, which serves the Green Line’s E Branch, will see raised platforms for easier boarding, four new elevators, accessible bathrooms, and improved lighting and wayfinding signage.

Scope: Fenagh provides materials testing and special inspections, including concrete placement and sampling, quality control/assurance, observation of earthwork activities, and conduit inspections.
